Lake Placid is a village in upstate New York, which takes you about five hours drive from Manhattan. I actually came to this place for skiing with some of my friends, and it's interesting that I got to know this pretty town. It's snowing now in Lake Placid, which is earlier than in New York City. However, I would not recommend this place for skiing for those who live in New York City unless you cannot wait... because it is very expensive and far!
Anyway, here are some pictures I took from the trip; I hope you guys enjoy the Christmas feel from them and I wish you all have a great holiday!
Balcony of a hotel with snow and Christmas decoration...
A little gift store with Christmas trees outside 🙂
The town reminded of scenes in Disney's movies.
Lovers made the winter warmer...
A lovely ice skating rink in town...
A bar with a "Budweiser" bob sled in front, isn't it cute?
We found this bonfire at one random restaurant in town... Look at the images of reindeer around it!!
Lake Placid is popular by hosting the Winter Olympics two times. The first game was in 1932 and the next one was 48 years later in 1980. It's a very interesting place!
