October is my favorite month of the year partly because it’s my birthday month; more than that, I’m in love with the weather when summer is leaving for fall to come. To celebrate this special month, I had an amazing trip to Wilkins farm which located in Yorktown Heights, New York. There are few activities here such as apple and pumpkin picking that I would recommend you guys who want to get away from the city for a day.
It’s only about two hours from Manhattan by Metro-North, Wilkens Fruit and Fir Farm has a completely different environment from the city.
I did apple picking with some of my friends, and it was such a great experience.
There were many different kinds of apples at the farm that you can try and pick ones that you like.
I love these red and small apples. I picked them straight from the trees, and tasted them right away… haha... they were very sweet!
This is a very beautiful place. Look at the color of these apples!
I got a full bag of apples at the end of the day...
Some people got a big basket of apples 🙂
To me, it was an awesome trip for starting a new month with new exciting plans.
I hope you all will visit this place soon, and don't forget to tell me your experience!
